For those who aren't aware, the pineapple is the unofficial mascot of the TTC (Trying to Conceive) community. Why, you may ask? Shouldn't it be an egg? Well, studies have shown that eating the core of a pineapple may encourage implantation into the uterus. Pineapples are loaded with an enzyme called bromelain -- an enzyme that acts as a pain reliever, blood thinner and anti-coagulant, and anti-inflammatory agent.
