Welcome, friend! Thanks for stopping by!
My name is Meredith Hodge, and I am a freelance writer, copy editor, and communications professional from the Chicago suburbs. I spend the majority of my time savoring coffee, plant-based cooking and baking, reading, and enjoying God’s creation in nature (I talk to the squirrels, birds, and chipmunks in my backyard on a daily basis!).
I am passionate about serving in ministry. I lead a small group of women every week in Bible study and lead gospel application workshops through my church. I am a contributing writer for Unlocking the Bible, the editor of Real Hope. Real Life., and the recipe developer for Field and Farm Co.
My wonderful husband, Matt, and I have been married since 2009. The two of us struggled with infertility due to PCOS, and we still do not have any children. I founded this blog, formerly titled “It’s Positive!” (hence my URL), in 2015 to bring gospel-centered hope and encouragement to those struggling to conceive. What an honor it was to walk alongside fellow suffers. However, after trying to conceive for several years, we have moved into a season of freedom, contentment, and peace as a child-free (not childless) couple. We believe that our mighty God can do anything, so we haven’t closed any chapter of our lives, but are submitting it to him in all that we say and do. {READ OUR INFERTILITY STORIES HERE + HERE} I have decided to update my blog to be about faith-led freedom and grace-filled growth.
There are many things I am passionate about and love, but nothing more than how passionate I am about my Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. I think you’ll see why when you read my testimony! {READ MY FULL TESTIMONY} My life’s purpose is to bring glory to his name through my life, whether on the high peaks or in the low valleys. I am committed to sharing about faith-led freedom and grace-filled growth wherever and however I can. I love others because he first loved me (1 John 4:19).
Thanks for walking with me!
