20 Pineapple Gifts You Need in Your Life (Right Now)

 

For those who aren’t aware, the pineapple is the unofficial mascot of the TTC (Trying to Conceive) community. Why, you may ask? Shouldn’t it be an egg?

Well, studies have shown that eating the core of a pineapple may encourage implantation into the uterus. Pineapples are loaded with an enzyme called bromelain — an enzyme that acts as a pain reliever, blood thinner and anti-coagulant, and anti-inflammatory agent. It may help with encouraging embryos to “stick” and also reduce the chance of miscarriage. Summary: Bromelain is nature’s aspirin. Pretty cool, huh? Read more about the benefits of pineapple here.

So, in preparation for my birthday in a couple weeks, I began compiling a wish list for my family and saw a pineapple theme developing. And since my TTC sisters love pineapples as much as I do, I decided to put a list together with the most adorable and unique pineapple products! Enjoy!
